I got there early in the morning to set up the set. I had done a similar segment in LA a few weeks prior so I felt like a pro getting it all set up. I was so early with my setup that I actually got to relax during getting mic’d up and got to watch the news live. It is SO fun to prep and think of all the details to have on the table. To think about timing and what to say in just a split second for each tip to truly capture the whole process. It’s an art and I am thankful for all the exposure that has given me on air training in a way. It’s so different then any other public speaking engagements I have done. I can’t wait to do more!
It will never get old being on set, I feel so lucky to be able to be spreading my passion. What a pinch me moment ever time the ON AIR red light goes on. If you told me ten years ago I would be doing what I am today on the news I would have never believed you. I am so grateful for these opportunities.
